KEVIN M. GIBSON

Kevin Gibson, age 60, passed away June 5, 2017 at Grant Medical Center.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jarden Arlen and Thelma T. Gibson; daughter, Katrina Corbin; mother-in-law, Diana Staten; and dear friend Ralph Simons, who was like a brother to him.

Kevin is survived by his loving wife, Christina; three daughters, Karena Corbin, Porche Hagans, and Mindy Staten (Luis Alexander); four sons, Tyler Runyon, Tyrone Applin, James Webster, and Mikey (Melissa) Gibson; 18 grandchildren, Jayla and Brianna Corbin, Ti-juan Almanzar, Paulette Butler, Destiny, Trinity, Jaiden, Leyah, and Lerika Williams, Michelle, Cobey, and Tylynne Runyon, James Webster, Jr., Isaiah Lee, Devin, Dominic, and Evelyn Gibson, and Ayden Thompson; three great-grandchildren, Kaianna Funderburg, and Nyla and Nyhiem Hopkins; brother, Armand Gibson; sister, June Gibson; nieces and nephews, April Robinson, Christian & Karen Gibson, Lawrence & Jahnele Williams; great-nieces and nephew, Debroah Robinson, Shavaughn and Jordan Gibson; special friends, Tyrone Fagin, Joe Mosley, Steve Simons, Tina & Joe Jefferson, and Rick & Wanda; and a host of other friends and relatives.

Visitation 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Thursday, June 15 at COOK & SON-PALLAY FUNERAL HOME, 1631 Parsons Ave., where service will follow at 7:00 P.M.
