I am deeply sorry for your loss, we only knew Samantha for the short time that she was dating Luke, but she made a huge impact on us.
She was a wonderful young woman, always smiling and she made our son smile larger than I think he ever had. It is sad that her life was cut short at such a young age. My prayers will be with you to get you through this rough time. God Bless you!!!

My deepest sympathies to you. Sami was in my 7th grade social studies class at Teays Valley West. She was a wonderful girl, so friendly and a great addition to the classroom. I still have a note that she left on my desk expressing how much she enjoyed my class. It was precious to me then and means so much more now. Rest in Peace, Sami.

I am very sorry for your loss. Our son, Nicholas, had became very good friends with Sami this year while on their many trips to the school nurse's office (Nicholas has Type 1 also). Words can not express our deepest sympathy on your loss.

My deepest condolences to your family! I never had Sami in my classroom at Scioto, but remember seeing her beautiful smile as she passed by in the hallway. Heaven has a new angel now! Your family is in my prayers during this difficult time. R.I.P. Sami!

I cannot express how sorry I am for your loss. She was a WONDERFUL girl. I had really good times with her when we had slumber parties at another friends' house. I don't exactly remember everything, but she was so nice. I wasn't super close with Sam, but even though we hadn't talked in years, she texted me recently. She was so sweet. She is going to be missed by SO MANY people. She was a big part of a lot of people's lives. She will always be so loved. Rest in peace, and fly high, Sam. <3

I met her in the neighborhood and she was so full of life. I remember seeing her and getting so excited when she came to visit southernpoint. Scott and Brenda I am so sorry about Sam. She is such a great girl and was so very much loved. I remember when I first came to teays valley she was the first one who stepped up and for lack of better words took me under her wings and from that day on she was my bestfriend. I miss her so very much and I know you two do to. I cant believe in one week she has been gone for a year, but we all have to remember that even if she is not here in person, face to face, she will always be in our hearts, forever and always. I love you guys and keep your head up.
Rest In Peace Samantha Allyson McFarland I love you forever and always baby girl!!
