IVAN VANCE JR. Obituary

IVAN WILLARD VANCE JR., age 61, passed away Monday, April 8, 2024 at Doctors Hospital.

Preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter. Survived by son, Ivan W. Vance III; daughter, Lily Collins; seven brothers and sisters; cousins' Sharon McCoy, Mary Glispy, Frances Williamson, Julia Steinberg, and Lisa King.

Ivan was born in Hamlin, WV, and attended Logan High School where he was on the football team. At the time of his death, he lived in Columbus Ohio, where Ivan was a member of and attended the Church for All People on Parsons Avenue. Ivan went home to be with Jesus. He will be deeply missed here on earth.

Special friends, Faye and Tony McGraff, and Ms. Kim Hairston.

A memorial service for Ivan will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at the Church for All People at 2:00 P.M.
