Dane Simpson Obituary

Dane W. Simpson, age 77, was born on November 26, 1941 in Delaware, OH and passed away November 15, 2019 at his home.

He joined the U.S. Navy at the age of 19. He retired from ADL.

He was an avid guitar player, loved anything mechanical, and enjoyed fishing. Above all, he was a devoted husband and father.

Preceded in death by parents, Dane and Ivadell Simpson, wife Sharon; and grandsons, Dennis Mosley and Aaron Simpson.

Survived by children, Dana (Ben) Bertram, Dane (Liza), Ralph (Tammara), and Iva (Tony) Wise; grandchildren, Jennifer, Heather, Christopher, Amber, Dane Aaron, Megan, Bethany, Anthony, Corey, Torey, Kelsey, Clifford, Joshua, Michael, and Aaron; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Dave (Debby) and Jerry (Helen); sisters, Linda and Barb (Carroll); many nieces and nephews. Visitation 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at COOK & SON-PALLAY FUNERAL HOME, 1631 Parsons Ave., where service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday. Interment with military honors to follow at Obetz Cemetery.
