Dixie Thompson Obituary

Dixie Thompson, age 84, passed peacefully on April 11, 2018 at Scioto Community.

She was born September 13, 1933. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed dearly. She retired from the State of Ohio, and enjoyed shopping. Some of her favorite times included spending time with all the kids in the family, and cooking, baking, crafts, and playing board games with them.

Preceded in death by mother Levada (Kuhn) Halley and father William Halley; and sisters Evelyn Counts and Violet Tucker.

Survived by daughter, Brenda (Allen) White; son, Michael (Laura) Thompson; granddaughters, Jamie Thompson and Jessie Thompson; great-grandchildren, Mack, Tyler, Emily, and Isabelle; sister, Georgia Ward; nieces, nephews, and friends.

We would like to thank the staff at Scioto Community and a special thanks to the Kindred Hospice staff that cared for her.

Per her request there will be no memorial service. Cremation being handled by COOK & SON-PALLAY FUNERAL HOME.
