Donald L. Friend, Sr., age 64, passed away January 9, 2018. 

Preceded in death by mother, Doris Friend; father, Charles Friend; and sisters, Peggy, Doris, and Judy.

Survived by wife, Orvetta Friend; daughters, Donita (Chuck) Long, Tamra Friend, and Stephanie Friend; sons, Donald L. (Kelly Makeover) Friend, Jr. and Jason Friend; sister, Sally Adams; brothers, Chuck, Bob, and Billy Friend; 19 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Visitation 3:00 to 5:00 P.M. Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Central Baptist Church, 1955 Frank Road, Columbus, OH 43223, where a memorial service will follow at 5:00 P.M.  Pastor Tim Womack officiating.
