It was an honor for Mel & I to know Bette! She was beautiful inside & out. It was always a joy to see her at the Newman Center!!! And her presence at Lydia's House was always special! Mel visited her often as his time allowed & would take her outside when the weather was nice! She really loved that! Her lovely presence will surely be missed. We are so pleased to be able to attend her service. Our prayers will remain with the family during your time of grief!

Bette's smiling face will be missed at the Newman Center, but heaven is now more joyful. May God comfort her family in this time of loss, and may Bette celebrate her new life as she dances with the angels.

I was honored to have known Bette for a number of years, through the Newman Center. She touched my life in many ways. Her gentleness, respect & deep faith were ever present. I will miss seeing her!!

Bette"s passing is a great loss to the many whose lives she touched. She was a model of sweet gentleness, caring and compassion. A beautiful women with a selfless heart of gold. She has gone on to her eternal deserved reward for a life well lived.
