Freddie Lane Obituary

Freddie Leron Lane, age 83, passed away June 9, 2018, surrounded by family.

Born in Clarendon, Arkansas, he was an owner of Lane Realty & Associates, a devoted member of the Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, and a ministerial servant. He was an excellent athlete, especially enjoying golf, bowling, and fishing.

Preceded in death by parents, Fred and Margie Lane; daughter, Crystal Lane; brothers, Lavern Stewart and William Lane; sisters, Turallene Calloway, Geraldine Stanley, Ethel Tatum, and Margaret Ingram.

Survived by wife, Mary L. Lane; daughter, Rosemary (Abdul) Mohamed; grandchildren, Julius Massalay, Zachary (Brooke) Muhumad, Jamaal Mohamed, and Solomon Mohamed; brothers, David (Stephanie) Lane, George Lane, Thomas Lane, Kenneth Lane, Maurice Lane, and Aaron Lane; sisters, Janet Lane, Mila Lane, and Nadean Lane; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service 5:30 p.m. Monday, June 18 at the Whitehall Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 570 Robinwood Ave. (to Metzger Place).
