Harold Holland Obituary

Harold Keith Holland, age 59, gracefully went to sleep at 4:28 P.M. on September 21, 2018 at Mount Carmel Hospital.

He was born April 16, 1959 in Columbus, OH to Jerry Armstrong and Marjorie Holland, the fifth of nine children.  He grew up on the east side of Columbus and attended East High School.  Harold was a hard worker at Cummins Interstate Power and never met a stranger.  He was always willing to assist everyone.

Harold’s hobbies were baseball and watching football, with the Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes being his favorite teams.  He also enjoyed watching old Western movies, and was a former member of the Pride of the West #5 Lodge.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Norma Jean Hunter, and brother Richard Armstrong.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Regina Renee Holland (and her mother, Deborah); sisters, Priscilla Watson, Diane Holland, and Laura (Lester) Shute; brothers, Robert Holland and Phillip Armstrong; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Friday, October 5, 2018 at Cook & Son-Pallay Funeral Home, 1631 Parsons Avenue.

A SILENT TEAR

Just close your eyes and you will see
All the memories that you have of me
Just sit and relax and you will find
I’m really still there inside your mind

Don’t cry for me now I’m gone
For I am in the land of song
There is no pain, there is no fear
So dry away that silent tear

Don’t think of me in the dark and cold
For here I am, no longer old
I’m in that place that’s filled with love
Known to you all, as “up above”
