Blessings to all of Jeans loved ones......and to her. I just discovered today the news of Jeans passing. I too was blessed by knowing her. I lived across the road from her for a few years when residing as a companion of her long time friend and Beechwold neighbor. Jean was the first to greet me, to offer help and encouragement, to invite me to her classes, her meditation garden.... to share time together and become friends.....no small thing. I saw her extend herself in service to so many, she was an extraordinary person. Rembering all family with my heartfelt condolences. My remembrance remains of Jeans humor, keen mind and curiosity, her genuine interest in understanding people. offering kindness and follow through deeds. Jean, you really inspired me, Love and Light, Deborah Montgomery

Jean:
Although I may not be able to be physically present  for your Memorial and Celebration of Life, I wish to say "thank you" for being my muse and mentor in the "Adventures in Writing" for many years. You had opened up my life for the past, present and future. You will always be in my heart and thoughts.
Rest in peace.......Jeffrey

Janet we are so sorry to learn of your mom's passing. Jean had such a loving, "reaching out" and "gathering" spirit. I got to know her first and most as my China roommate - an experience that changed us both forever. She will always be greatly loved. Lola & Jim Butler

Dear Janet,
Sending you sympathy of your mom's passing--and of your sister Peggy's passing, which we only learned in Jean's obituary notice at this site.  As neighbors to your mom and dad years ago, we learned so much from them. Later, we enjoyed dinners with your mom at Westminster.  She had boundless joy and a great love for others--a great teacher to all.
With sympathy and kindest regards,
Bill and Molly Davis

Janet,  Words cannot express nor convey my feelings right now.  I'm sad for you and your family and all of us who knew your mom.  At the same time though, I have to say that your mother had a wonderful life on her own terms with no regrets.  Thoughts of your mom inevitably lead me to smiles and laughter.  You and David are her very best legacy.   Much much love and affection to you both.
