JIM ROGER JONES

Jim Roger Jones passed away early morning on May 19, 2017.  

Jim was born on April 16, 1947 in Greenup, KY.  Jim had a passion for hunting, fishing, blue grass music, and most of all time spent with his family.  Coon dogs, squirrel dogs, playing his mandolin, banjo, and fiddle kept a smile on his face, and you never knew what critter he would bring home next.  

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Marilyn Jones; his daughter, Gail (Rick) Sheldon; son, Jimmy (Melinda) Jones; grandchildren, Ricky and Marilyn Sheldon, Shane and Rylee Jones; great-grandchildren, Kaiden and Sam Foor; brother, Ernie (Vanessa) Jones; close niece and nephews, Jennifer, Tanner, and Levi Jones; family and friends too numerous to mention.  

Jim was preceded in death by father Jim and mother Dorothy, brothers Bill and Bob Harris, Floyd and Emery Jones.  

Visitation 10:30-11:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 23 at the Edison Enterprise Baptist Church, 3055 St. Rt. 95, Edison, OH, with service following at 11:30 a.m.  Pastor Ed Colegrove officiating.    Interment Fulton Cemetery.
