Patricia Ann (Young) Fails

Patricia Ann Fails, age 82, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2017.

She was born February 6, 1935 in Sarasota, FL to the late Frank and Lorraine (Snook) Young.

Pat was a loving mother and grandmother.  She loved her dogs, and had many throughout her life.  She was a member of the Red Hat Society, and was a ceramic artist with her own business.

She was preceded in death by first husband, Robert Deaterla and second husband, Joseph Fails; and daughter, Robin Deaterla.

Pat is survived by her children, Dottie Fails (Nick Madias), Mark Deaterla (Cheryl), Dawn Deaterla (Kyle Phillips), Matt Deaterla, and Craig Stanton (Lauren); grandchildren, Damion Deaterla (Dawn), Karmen Fails (Dan Raaf), Greg Kegler (Dawn), Jennifer Deaterla, Colin Phillips, Michael Phillips; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Marilyn and Jean; many nieces and nephews and other family.

She will be laid to rest at Union Cemetery, Columbus, OH.  Private arrangements per the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to any Humane Society.
