Selmon Thomas, Jr., age 73, passed away peacefully at his home on May 30, 2019, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born June 16, 1945 in Shaw, MS to Selmon Sr. and Rosetta Thomas. He worked as a psychiatric nurse for the State of Ohio for over 20 years.
Selmon was preceded in death by his parents, and by Hattie Mae White, Herbert Thomas, Roslyn Gibson, Tolisca White, and Jerry Sutton.
Left behind to cherish his memories are his wife, Mary Thomas; daughters, Regina Thomas, Marlow Cain, Angela Thomas, and Amelia Dums; sons, Michael Sutton, Jerry Thomas, Peruis Thomas, Selmon Thomas III, and Michael Hall; brother Don Thomas, Melvin Thomas, and Matthew Thomas; sisters, Jacqueline Sherman, Linda Robinson, and Alice Bell; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation 2:00 to 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Cook & Son-Pallay Funeral Home, 1631 Parsons Ave., where service will follow at 3:00 P.M. Pastor Daisy Milner officiating.
