Sherman E. Ross, Sr.

Sherman E. Ross, Sr., age 85, passed away Monday, December 26, 2017 at home in Ashville, OH. 

Veteran of the U.S. Air Force.  Retired from Federal Glass and spent many years as an independent auctioneer.  Member of Benfield Christian Church. 

Preceded in death one week earlier by his wife Gloria.  Also preceded by son Sherman II, daughter Darlene Harper, grandson Sherman III, sister Helen Bennett and two brothers. 

Survived by granddaughter, Geneva (Geoffrey) Davis; care-giver, Maudie Christopher; great-grandchildren, Gary Jr., Dystinie, Ezabelle, Giovanni, Summer, William, and Amilliana; and many nieces and nephews. 

Visitation 5-7 p.m. Thursday, January 4 at COOK & SON-PALLAY FUNERAL HOME, 1631 Parsons Ave., where service will follow at 7 p.m.
