Aaron Michael McCarroll was born to Robert and Yvette McCarroll, Jr. on July 11, 1990. He was a lifelong resident of Columbus, Ohio. He was the youngest of six children and graduated from Reynoldsburg High School in 2010. He attended Columbus State Community College as well as Independent University studying Graphic Design.
Aaron was unexpectedly taken from us on February 6, 2020.
He is preceded in death by his daughter Anna R. McCarroll, sister Asenath McCarroll, father Robert L. McCarroll, Jr., and grandparents William (Dorothy) Smith and Robert (Martha) McCarroll, Sr., along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and a nephew.
Left to celebrate his memory is his mother, Yvette (Philip) McCarroll-Shipp; his children, Kamron McCarroll, Dezjuano Mack, Dee-Ahji and Nazarae McCarroll, David and Anajae' Johnson; siblings, April Billue, Tamara (Daniel) McCarroll, Niquita McCarroll, Robert L. (Candice) McCarroll III; fiancé, Dashayla Chavis; and a host of beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Aaron Michael McCarroll was a special person, a person of burning passion, fierce loyalty, and never ceasing compassion; Aaron would provide the shirt off his back to care for another. He accepted people of all walks of life, and there was a sense of comfort among his company. He never knew a stranger and would defend his loved ones to the very end. His sense of humor was only rivaled by his strong heart and independent mind. Aaron had many roles in life: a father, a son, a brother, a uncle, a nephew, a cousin, as well as a friend, and as each one he was deeply loved. He gave us 29 years of joy, laughter, and a sense of wonder for all he could create and do. He had a passion for the culinary arts and often found himself crafting fond memories with his cuisines. If he wasn’t “goofing off” and being the life of the party, you could find him putting his talents to work with paper and pen, drawing beautiful pieces, listening to a variety of music, which he had such a strong passion for, or just spending time with those he cherished. We will always love you and keep you with us in our hearts until we meet again.
