Abriel (Abby) Christine Sharp, age 25, was born in Columbus, Ohio on November 16, 1993 to Alisha Lynn Sharp and the late Shawn Christopher Sharp. On September 7, 2019, she went to meet her creator.
As a child, Abby was curious, had a gentle soul, and never met a stranger. She was creative and caring and could light up a room with her smile. She would give anyone the shirt off her back if you needed it and would sit quietly beside you if you were lonely. She was grateful for any kind gesture and was very sentimental. She treasured even the smallest gift, card, or token of love. She was a hard worker and believed in her independence. She loved her family immensely. But the love of her life was her daughter Tehya Skye.
Abby spent her summers with her Aunt Dana in Georgia and loved “making memories” with her Grandma Sharon. She ran to her “Papaw Louie” for love, guidance and support. She loved her “mama bear” and found a best friend in her Aunt Keri. She loved watching movies and eating pizza. Her favorite color was purple.
Abby was the first grandchild and granddaughter in the family. She would eventually gain a younger brother, Zach and two younger boy cousins, Nate and Charles, to contend with until she finally got a girl cousin, Jaden. She cherished the addition of another boy in the family, her little brother Aiden.
She believed in God and that “the promise of heaven is our eternal hope” so much that she carried it with her across her chest.
She is survived by one daughter, Tehya Skye Weeks; mother, Alisha Sharp; brothers, Zachary Sharp and Aiden Murnane; grandfather, Louis Patterson (Janet); aunts, Dana Patterson and Keri Pinkerton; uncle, Jason Patterson; cousins, Nathaniel White-Pinkerton, Charles Crisp, and Jaden Patterson; along with a host of great-aunts, friends, and loved ones.
Preceding her in death was her father Shawn Christopher Sharp; twin brothers Austin and Dustin (born premature), and grandparents Sharon and Grover Pinkerton.
Visitation is 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Friday, September 13, 2019 at Cook & Son-Pallay Funeral Home, 1631 Parsons Ave, Columbus, OH 43207, where a small prayer service will follow.
Her ashes will be laid to rest atop her father’s grave at Obetz Cemetery, Obetz, Ohio.
