Brenda Jane (Sauls) Boggs

Brenda Jane Sauls Atkins Boggs, age 73, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at her home.

She was born February 5, 1946 in Stickney, WV. 

She worked as a school bus driver in Boone County, WV and for the Columbus, OH public schools, and was also a school bus monitor for the Pickerington, OH public schools, before retiring. 

Brenda thoroughly enjoyed life!  She loved to go bowling, watch game shows on TV, and play video games.  She was very competitive, so if you got into a game of cards or corn hole with her, you needed to try your hardest.  She liked to go fishing.  Although she was an avid OSU football fan, her heart was with Peyton Manning.  She was a great cook, and her chicken and dumplings, pickled eggs, and biscuits and gravy will be sorely missed.

Above all, Brenda loved her family, especially her grandbabies.

She was preceded in death by first husband, Robert Lewis Atkins and second husband, Harland Eugene Boggs; brother, Buddy Sauls; as well as her parents.

Brenda leaves behind daughters, Lora Jane Atkins, Tina Renee (CJ) Moore, Robin Pharie Atkins, and Amanda Lynn Atkins; step-children, Debbie (Dave) Wilson, Robert (Krista) Boggs, and Gregory Boggs; grandchildren, Krista Jane, Sarah Renee, Hannah Marie, Payton Rhiannon Lynn, Joyce, Justin, Brittany, Katelynne, and Jolie; great-grandchildren, Mason James, Jackson Tyler, Carter Joseph, Julian Parker, and Emily Elizabeth; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, and other family and friends.

Visitation 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Monday, April 1, 2019 at Cook & Son-Pallay Funeral Home, 1631 Parsons Ave., where service will follow at 7:00 P.M.  Pastor Stephen Neese officiating.
