Carolyn R. Johnson, age 79, was called home Friday, October 6, 2023.

Preceded in death by parents Pauline and Windsor Ramsey, partner J.D. King, Jr., son James "Jamey" F. Johnson, 3 brothers and a sister.

Survived by daughters, Candice Johnson and Pamela (Todd) Kerrin; grandchildren, Adam Kerrin, Tashicka Rock, Lashonda Payne, Niko Payne, Jeremy Johnson, and James Johnson; and 3 great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 21, from 3:00 to 4:30 P.M. at Cook & Son-Pallay Funeral Home, 1631 Parsons Ave., and will conclude with a Memorial Service.
