Obituary

Chester Lee Barger, age 71, went to be with the Lord, Friday, August 18, 2023 at Riverside Methodist Hospital.

Worked for many years with the Native American Indian Center on Innis Avenue. He was a devoted collector, especially of coins, watches and knives. He was a devout Christian who read his Bible regularly, and a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Preceded in death by parents Lester and Betty Jo Barger, brothers Lester "Lucky," Kenneth (Norma), Sidney "Boogie," Sam, and Harold David, sisters Nancy Faye Barger, Lana (Billy) Hall, and Dorothy McClintock.

Survived by wife, Freda; daughters Julie (Billy) Owings and Nancy Faye Barger; son, Randy Barger (AnaMaria Santos); granddaughter Rachel Leigh Barger; sisters, Lois Coleman and Sally Brown; many nieces and nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.

According to Chester's wishes, there will be no viewing or service.
