Chester Miller, Jr. Obituary

Chester Lee Miller, Jr was born on September 20, 1967 and departed this physical world too soon on October 27, 2021 at 5:15 A.M., at the young age of 54. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Harvey and Aurelia Carter.

Born in Chicago, Illinois to Chester Lee Miller Sr., and Mary Jane Miller, Chester Lee Miller, Jr. or just “Junior” to his family, was the eldest child of 6, leaving behind countless memories as a big brother to his 5 siblings, Tajuania Miller, Adrienne Miller, Anita Miller, Nina Miller, and Paul Miller.

Junior is survived by his loving wife and children. Coming from a large family inspired Junior to build his own legacy. He became a devoted husband to Lashaun Miller in the summer of 1997 and remained loving and devoted for 26 years of marriage, sharing a total of 34 years together. The loving couple shared six children together Kaneesha, Cortez, Deontae, Keirre, Chessica, and Dejonae. He leaves them behind with the memories of countless talks, laughter, tears and a strong bond and love for one another.

Junior is survived as well by his 14 grandchildren, whom he loved and adored, and spoiled with love and affection every day. He loved to feed them candy and snacks and watch them run around and play with the countless toys he purchased for them. He was always thinking about his "Grand-brats" as they were labeled. They got to know and love him just as much as he loved them. Junior gave each grandchild a nickname when they were born; we will cherish those names and memories forever.

Junior leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, in laws, and friends. He was the chef of every family function as he loved to cook and dreamt of one day owning his own restaurant. Junior loved his family; he loved to gather and laugh. We will miss his countless hosting’s celebrating any and every holiday to bring us all together. We will hold in our hearts the flowers you would pass out on Mother’s Day, the anniversary parties you would throw celebrating your marriage and the love you showed to everyone. Countless memories are what we have now. We love you forever and may you rest in paradise.
