It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother, Danielle Dee Boysel-Smales.

She was called home unexpectedly, on March 12, 2024. She was born on March 23, 1976 to Harold Boysel and Joy Spradlin-Miller. She was also blessed in her life to have been raised by her stepfather, a very special man in her heart, Wayne Miller JR. (Sam) and to have a very special relationship with her stepmother, June Keffer.

Danielle was a wonderful mother who loved her children, Hannah and Bobby Smales with every ounce of her being. She loved being a grandmother and acknowledged her granddaughter, Serenity Smales, as “truly my best friend “. Being a mommy and a mamaw were the two things that brought the most joy to her life and she enjoyed sharing those precious moments with her co parent and co grandparent, Wayne Smales.

She was a Dallas Cowboys fan and an avid OSU Football supporter but what she loved most in life was spending time with family.

Danielle is preceded in death by her father Harold Boysel, stepfather Wayne Miller Jr. (Sam), grandparents Raleigh and Helen Spradlin, and grandparents George and Ruby Boysel.

She is survived by her children, Hannah Smales and Wayne R. Smales III; granddaughter,Serenity Smales; mother, Joy Spradlin Miller; stepmother, June (Kerry) Jeffer; brothers, Danny Boysel, Khris (Misty) Morris, and Kelly Morris; sisters, Devan Boysel, Erin (Gerald) Fowler, Sara Hurles, Kassie (Jeremy) Morris, and Kandi (Kenny) Smith; and nieces and nephews, Lucas, Bo, and Patrick Boysel, Haleigh Foster, Kaitlynn and Kamerin Fowler, Cayla, Jacob, Kelsie, and Khristopher Morris, Jaclyn Morris, Andrew and Chase Carrol and Silas Musick, Joseph Roberts and June Stevens, Landen Newsome, Jocelyn Carman, and Khloe and Maddox Smith.

Visitation with the family and services 3:00 to 5:00 P.M. Monday, March 25, 2024 at COOK & SON - PALLAY FUNERAL HOME, 1631 Parsons Ave.
