Diane Allton Obituary

Diane Sue “Deetle” Allton, age 65, was born August 12, 1954 and departed earth on February 20, 2020, to be with her Lord and Savior.

Preceded in death by her parents Bill and Virginia (Overly) Allton, sisters Anna Baker and Sandy Allton, and her life-long friend Karen Baurer.

Survived by sisters, Carol Pierce and Lenora Browning; brother Clayton Allton; many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; and two great-great-nieces; close friends, Carol Miller, Connie Faulks, and Linda Carney; and many other friends.

Diane attended the very first gay rights parade in Columbus, and continued for the next 20-plus years, until her health prevented her from participating.

Visitation 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 26 at Cook & Son-Pallay Funeral Home, 1631 Parsons Ave.

Private interment at Green Lawn Cemetery.
