Douglas Michael Buechler

Douglas Michael Buechler, age 33, passed suddenly and unexpectedly the afternoon of December 25, 2019.

Doug, aka DJ Dibs, was a talented musician, with the ability to pick up almost any instrument and start playing, but his favorite was the guitar.  He was a member of several bands in his youth, and continued in the Columbus music world whenever possible.  When not playing or writing music he worked as a stage hand setting up and tearing down at many Columbus venues.

He was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Don and Diane Wirtz.

He is survived by mother, Susanne "Charlie" Buechler; brother, Bern (Ashley) Buechler; sister, Amelia Buechler; niece, Olivia; nephew, Oliver; great-uncle, Denny Allemang; cousins, Don and Dean Allemang; other family and friends; and his dogs, Bixler and Joplin, who were the world to him.
