Ernest Carl Baird, age 79, passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at his home.

Carl loved to fish and gamble, and he was an excellent cook. For many years he was a member of the Southeast Conservation Club.

Preceded in death by parents Ernest and Sadie Baird, and sister Shirley Jean Steere.

Survived by sisters, Martha Sue Baird, Cynthia Lou (Jeff) Van Dyke, and Mary Janis Castro; brother, Dennis Earl Baird; niece, Jan Castro; and nephews, Jeremy Baird and Chris Castro.

According to Carl's wishes, there will be no viewing or service.
