Ezal Vega Obituary

Ezal Vega was born on September 10, 1933 in Cayey, Puerto Rico in the town of San Cristobal.

She is survived by her children, Joseph Castro, Cynthia Figueroa, Juan Pesante (Angie), Juanita Cortes (Fred), Santos Colon and Miriam Teresa Colon; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Elsie, as she preferred to be called, was an avid collector of photos and loved to travel. She emigrated from Puerto Rico to the Bronx, New York where she raised her children.

She resided at Mother Angeline McCrory nursing facility for the last 15 years. She loved to attend Mass and play bingo.

Visitation 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Friday, March 1, 2019 at Cook & Son-Pallay Funeral Home, 1631 Parsons Ave., where service will follow at 7:00 P.M.
