Frank Clifford Timmons. lifelong resident of Upper Arlington, died peacefully on May 11, 2023, at StoryPoint Grove City, surrounded by family.
Born April 2, 1957, Frank graduated from Upper Arlington High School, where he met the love of his life, Terry. He attended the University of Rio Grande in Business. For more than 35 years he was Senior Administrator at Lincoln Financial Advisors and a realtor at Apple Realty. Frank was a featured soloist for many years in Vaud Villities, serving as President. He sang in Vocal Spotlight ensemble. He was the cantor in a trio at St. Patrick Church on Grant Ave. in Columbus. He was named Outstanding Alumnus by the Upper Arlington Alumni Association, which he served as president. He also was president of the Upper Arlington Historical Society and was active in the UA Alumni Choir. Frank is a member of First Community Church and sang bass in the Chancel Choir. Frank was a warm, loving presence to his friends and family.
He was preceded in death by loving wife of 39 years Terry Nentwich Timmons, parents Frank and Betty Irwin Timmons, and sister Elizabeth (Libby) Timmons.
He is survived daughter, Jordan Timmons Savage (Benjamin); grandchildren, Xander, Joseph, Isabella and Linkin; brother, Ned (Marti)Timmons; sister, Darrel Timmons (Richard) Ivy; brother-in law, Larry (Phyllis) Nentwich; and many nieces and nephews.
A service of memory will be held on Friday, May 19 at 4:00 pm at First Community Church, 3777 Dublin Road, Hilliard. Rev. Mary Kate Buchanan officiating. A private entombment will be at Union Cemetery.
