JANE E. WILDS, 83, passed very quietly, with her children (Rebecca, daughter and Chris, son) present at Danbury Westerville Parkside on February 19, 2024. Her purpose in living died with her beloved husband, Rev. Neal Wilds, five years ago. She's now truly gone to "find her man". We can't imagine her anywhere but at his side. After meeting at Lambuth College (now University of Memphis Lambuth), traveling to Ohio to attend the Methodist Theological School in Ohio (Methesco), they spent sixty years together, preaching (him), raising rabbits (him), and Guinea pigs (her). She was a kindergarten teacher's aide, then after earning her B.A. (Cleveland State University), a twenty-year employee of the Department of Housing and Urban Development. At retirement their lives were dedicated to looking after their 'Flock'. He was Pastor and she member of Brooklyn Memorial United Methodist Church nineteen years, and friends of Brooklyn Heights UCC of Cleveland.
She is survived by her children, son-in-law, grandsons Nathan and Nicholas, and in-laws down-south.
