James Blackburn Obituary

James Lacey Blackburn, age 81, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2023 at Legacy of Dublin.

Veteran of the U.S. Army.

He liked to fish, play cards, and watch football, especially the OSU Buckeyes.

Preceded in death by parents Ezra and Clarice Blackburn, daughter Cecilia Blackburn. and sisters Darlene Smales, Mary Ann Climer, and Sandy Nowlin.

Survived by several daughters, many, many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; sister, Terry Jane Moore, brother, Donald Paul Blackburn, and numerous nieces and nephews.

According to his wishes, there will be no viewing or service. His ashes will be interred at the Dayton National Cemetery.
