In loving memory of James Lamont “Monty” Givens.
Monty was a fun loving caring and very outgoing individual to everyone he encountered. There was never a dull moment when he was around. He enjoyed roller skating and doing work for others when it was needed in and around the community.
He is survived by his loving father James Givens, grandmother Lilian Camack; son James Givens, Jr.; daughter Amber Goins Givens; siblings Jerrone, Jeanne, and Terrell; step siblings Denise, Felicia, Roni, Ramona and Michelle; two grandkids and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
Family will receive friends at the residence, 2398 Dunkirk Dr., Columbus 43219, from 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 26. A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 P.M. Sunday, August 27, at Mt. Gerizim Baptist Church, 2633 Mock Rd. followed by a repast across the street at Mock Park , 2520 Mock Rd.
