John Wayne Howell, Sr.

John Wayne Howell, Sr., age 82, was called home November 16, 2021.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and a member of Fairfield Christian Church.

John had a deep love for his family, and for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and hunting and flying remote control planes.

Preceded in death by wife, Linda G. Howell, grandson, John W. Howell III, mother, Isabell Williams, and cousin, Joe Armstrong.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his daughters, Jackie Howell and Turina Foster (Tyra Parks); sons, John W. Howell, Jr. (Stephanie Mattern), Timmy (Terri) Foster, and Greg Foster (Charity Lockhart); grandchildren Alexis Howell, Joshua Couch, TJ Foster, Brandon Foster, Ashley Foster, Gregory Foster, Kent Wilson, Malika Wilson, Jonathan Howell, William Higgs II, and Don Sunderland; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Vicki (Chuck) Ridley; nieces, Kelli Tucker, Stephanie (Mason) Zook, and Jennifer Ridley; nephews, Kevin Tucker and Matthew Ridley; cousins, Rose Wright, Sharon Bracy, Tootie Armstrong, Boobie Armstrong, and Vance Armstrong; brothers in Christ, Gregory West, Charlie Black, Steve Luchtenberg, and Ben James; and many other family members and dear friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at Fairfield Christian Church, 1965 N. Columbus St., Lancaster, OH at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 12, 2022.
