John Leir Lowe

John Leir Lowe, age 59, passed away June 16, 2021 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

John was an intelligent man, tops in his class in high school.  He loved watching the History Channel, and was fascinated by skulls and skeletons.  He played basketball, and made amazing lasagna, much to the delight of his family.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Johnathan Lowe and Michael R. Lowe.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of over 30 years, Mary Suzanne Johnson; children, Carlos A. Johnson, Anthony M. Johnson, John L. Lowe, Jr., Johnna S. (LaQuisha R.) Lowe, Nysheka V. Lowe, Mysheka C. Lowe, and Phillip L. Lowe; grandchildren, My’Keyla R. Lowe, Doesha Lowe, Nyshea Lowe, Jo’ziah S. Lowe, Samantha M. Lowe, and Travon N. Lowe; mother, Yvonne Lowe; father, Donald R. Thomas; sister, Cindy L. Lowe; and many other family members and friends.

Visitation 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 noon Monday, June 28, 2021 at Cook & Son-Pallay Funeral Home, 1631 Parsons Ave., where a Memorial Service will follow at 12:00 noon, Reverend Calvin Moffitt officiating.
