John Warner Swift

John Warner Swift, age 83, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2023.  He was born April 24, 1939.

A veteran of the US Army, he later worked as both real estate agent and a construction contractor.  He was an active Member of Grace Polaris Church in Columbus, OH

John was passionate about sharing his faith in Christ. Exhibiting a friendly personality, he cared about each person's unique story. His many interests included family, health, history, airplanes, cars, and outdoor activities.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

John is survived by his wife, Gretchen; 3 daughters, and 9 grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, May 11, 2023 at The Ministry Center at Grace Polaris Church, 8225 Worthington-Galena Rd., Westerville, OH  43081.

He will be buried in a private ceremony at Dayton National Cemetery.
