Joy Himes Obituary

Joy J. Himes, age 95, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2020 at home.

"Mama Himes," as she was known to many in Grove City, was a loving and caring woman, always ready to help anyone in need. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, who loved her family dearly. One of her favorite things to do was to go to the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN. She will be terribly missed, and her memory forever cherished by everyone who knew her.

Preceded in death by husband, Daniel Webster Himes, Jr.; and sons Harold Robson and David May.

Survived by daughters, Tempa Robson, Joy Himes-Barsic, and JoAnn Wilson; sons, Daniel W. Himes III and Thomas Himes; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and close friends, Mary White and Betty Harris.
