LaVita Denise Moreland was born July 29, 1956 in Xenia, OH. LaVita was 67 years young when she gained her wings on Monday, October 16, 2023 at Doctors Hospital.
She was a former employee for Hightlights for Children, which she loved.
LaVita loved crafts, gardening, holidays. baking, and spending time with her mom, children, grandchildren, and Toros M.C. family. LaVita was a retired member of Toros M.C. in which she was affectionately known as Miz Vee. She loved all her family dearly.
LaVita was preceded in death by her father Adrian Wilson, special grandson Marquise Manns, and the love of her life Mark F. Haslett.
She is survived by her mother, Lois Williams; son, Douglas Moreland, Jr. (Tonie Harper); daughters, Michelle Moreland (Jerry), Janika Moreland, and DeAnn Williams (Avery McNeal); grandchildren, DeAnte (Erika) Drummer, Derrick Thompson, Jr. (Courtney Mullins), Teiron Douglas, Markell Jackson, Jaonia Dalton, Keonia Dalton, DeShay Mills, Daurice Mills, Zayaria McNeal, and Quincee Harper; great-grandchildren, Derrick Thompson III, Romyn Thompson, Marleigh Drummer, Noa Drummer, Rian Hill, and Mekhi Harper; godson, Micah Enoch Williams; goddaughter, Collette Bowers; sisters, Darcille Wilson and Virginia Brantly; brother, Adrian Wilson, Jr.; special sons, Justin and George (Tony) Haslett; special daughter, Ebony (Nikki) Haslett; special grandchildren, Justin, Taylor, Dillin, Makenna, Mason, Jace, Ashley, Marquan, Katherine, and Kiara Haslett; special great-grandchildren Paris, Justin Jr., Arissa, Akyah, Marianna, Marquan Jr., Zyquan, and Ahanna Haslett; special cousins, Scottra Carr and Diana Burroughs; special aunt, Anna Hughes; and many cousins, other family members, and friends.
Visitation 12:00 noon to 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Cook & Son-Pallay Funeral Home, where service will follow at 2:00 P.M. Pastor Dana Eubanks officiating.
