Lela E. Cottrell, also known as “Sue” and “Digger,” age 77, left her earthly body on September 4, 2020 at home, with her closest loving family by her side.
She loved going to the casinos and playing bingo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, and five brothers.
She is survived by son, Timothy (Heidi Bush) Cottrell, great-niece and caregiver, Connie (James) Power; great-great-niece, Crystal (Zac) Eisnaugle; nieces, Lois (Lloyd) Casto and Roxie (Jeff) Mayle; nephew, Mike Cossin; a very close and special cousin, Helen (William) Gardner; and many more relatives.
Visitation 12:00 noon to 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at Cook & Son-Pallay Funeral Home, 1631 Parsons Ave., where Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 P.M. Pastor Ed Colegrove and Reverend Evangelist Dewey J. Montgomery officiating. Interment following service at Obetz Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Timothy Cottrell, James Power, Zac Eisnaugle, Jeff Mayle, and Mike Cossin.
Donations to assist the final expenses may be made directly to the funeral home.
