Luella Lucille (Whetzel) Collins

Luella Lucille "Ma Dukes" Collins, age 67, passed away August 16, 2020.  She was born May 31, 1953 in Bellaire, Ohio to the late Eartha Whetzel and Lester Davenport.

Luella worked for many years as a home health aide, several years in customer service, and a host of other job throughout her lifetime.  She was a kind and gentle soul, with a generous heart.  She was always giving to others,  She was fierce when it came to her family, and in her love of herself.  Luella was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She spent her final days surrounded by her family, before gaining her wings.

In addition to her parents, Luella was preceded in death by her grandparents, Walter and Louella Johnson; sister, Carol Ann Johnson Stephens; mother and father-in-law, Payton and Vivian Collins; brother-in-law, Carlos Collins; son, Lueis Z. Collins; and granddaughter Toni Holliman-Collins. 

She is survived by husband, Victor Collins, Sr.; daughters, Tomiko Collins, Ebony Gales, Victoria Collins, Kisia Collins,and Latrina Bass; son, Victor (Mariah Brown) Collins, Jr.; sons-in-law, Marcus Sowell and Tony Tyler; grandchildren, Kiera, Ashley, Candace, Boyd, Anissa, Daneeja, Myrkle, Noah, Jayden, Joanna, Sir Lawrence, Markelle, Kemar, Kelijah,Kewaun, Keyron, Aaron, Aaliyah, Jayla, Victor III, Mekhi, Mykaia, Loueis, Jr., Martee, Khlia, Cali, and Roshawn; eleven great-grandchildren; sister, Andrea Whetzel; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. 

Visitation 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. Tuesday., August 25 at COOK & SON-PALLAY FUNERAL HOME, 1631 Parsons Ave., where service will follow at 11:00 A.M. Interment Evergreen Cemetery.
