Mark Douglas “Skip” Pentz, age 61, passed away unexpectedly on November 21, 2020.
Mark was born February 16, 1959 to Jerry and Marge Pentz. He served in the U.S. Navy in the early 1970’s, and was a member of Teamsters Local 413. He spent many years on the road, and enjoyed driving.
He was preceded in death by his mom and dad; brother, Tom Peters; nephews, Bill Keeler and Brandon Hammond; and niece, Nicole Dennison.
He is survived by, and will be dearly missed by daughters, Tiffany Pentz and Jennifer Pentz; son, Mark Pentz; grandchildren, Caitlyn, Holden, Jayden, Waylon, and Rae Lynn; brothers, Tim (Kim) Peters and Jerry (Pam) Pentz; sisters, Vicki (Don) Dennison and Kitten Hammond; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Skip was a great father, brother, uncle, friend, and neighbor. He loved and cared for many others.
He was an avid sports fan. He loved NASCAR and golf, which he played with his sister Vicki. He would watch the Browns with his brother Jerry, and was always up for a fight over the OSU-Michigan game. He went fishing with his sister Kitten, whom he nicknamed Catfish due to the way she wore her makeup. He also enjoyed cooking out, and his parties were epic.
He was an honest, patient, Christian man, who gave his heart to the Lord. He allowed the kids to slide down the stairs on tote lids, and never got mad when they would spill their chocolate milk. He was a best friend to his son, and loved the puppy, Rosco, given to him.
Skip was loved dearly, and will be missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
