Michael A. Mahley, age 72, has gone home to be with his Mommy on November 12, 2021.
Michael was talented and successful in many ways. Whether it was baseball, basketball or football, he had the tenacity, which was admired by many, that took his Bishop Watterson High School Football team to the State Championship and won in 1966, which is where he met Father William Dunn. He later graduated from Bishop Watterson in 1968.
After High School Michael worked for Metal Container Corporation and retired at the age of 62.
Relaxing with family, scratching off lottery tickets, or betting on season football pools was how he occupied his time during retirement.
Michael is preceded in death by his mother Frances Borror, father Joseph Mahley, and his sister Peggy Deifenbach.
Survived by his brother, Richard D. Schundelmier; sisters, Robin L. (Danny) Staten and Alice K. Borror; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
