Michael Patrick Thevenin

Michael P. Thevenin age 44, of Columbus, passed away peacefully and unexpectedly while at home.

Michael was born on March 17, 1978, to Robin Coleman and David Thevenin.  Michael was a devoted husband and father who took pride in working countless hours to provide for his family. He worked in the construction field throughout the early years of his life and transitioned to maintenance in 2008. Michael continued working in maintenance throughout the remainder of his life. When he wasn't at work, he enjoyed doing things such as spending time with his family, shooting guns, playing video games, singing, and crafting. Michael (also known as the cat man) enjoyed animals, especially cats. Michael was very outgoing and always willing to have a great time. 

Preceded in death by his son Brandon Flaherty, mother Robin Coleman, grandparents Charles Coleman and Kate Moore, brother Daniel Thevenin, and father and mother-in-law Dale and Shirley Flaherty.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his devoted wife, April Thevenin; daughters, Ariel and Bailee (Chelsea) Thevenin; daughter-in-law, Amanda Flaherty; son, Cameron (Kayla) Flaherty; grandchildren, Connor, Blake, and Kallie Jo Flaherty; father, Rick (Irene) Coleman; brothers, James “Jimmy” Thevenin, Timothy Thevenin, and Brian Thevenin; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Friday, January 27, 2023, at Cook & Son-Pallay Funeral Home, 1631 Parsons Avenue, where a Memorial Service will conclude the evening. Reverend Ronald Reese officiating.
