Sheila Ann (Brigham) Van Gundy, age 72, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2023 at her home.

She was a loving caretaker, working with the disabled for Franklin County for many years.

She loved movies and old musicals, and loved to travel. She attended many events around the city and did many activities with her grandson, Josh. She was a caring dog owner. She enjoyed drive-ins, coneys, weekends at the zoo, and theme parks.

Preceded in death by parents John William and Anah Augustine (Smith) Van Gundy and son William Arthur Brigham.

Survived by grandchildren, Joshua Zachary Brigham / AJA, and David Brigham Hembroff; great-grandson, Ashur Alexander Brigham; daughter, Lara Emily (David Hembroff) Brigham; sister, Beatrice Van Gundy; nieces, Lisa (Mark) Scott, Paislee Evans, and Valerie (Jacob) Weatherspoon; nephews, Dylan Evans, Brantley Evans, Hunter Ramey, Trevor Ramey, and Mason Erickson; friend, Clara; and ex-husband, David Brigham.

The family honored her memory with a private gathering at their home on the day she passed away.
