Obituary

Troy Delmos Mounts, age 81, was born on October 14, 1940 in West Virginia to the late Grover Cleveland Mounts and Martha Elizabeth (Adkins) Mounts.  He passed away June 1, 2022 at Scioto Community.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Dexter (Juanita), Thurman (Nadine), and Roland (Deanna), and sister Joanne (David) Miller.

Survived by children, Sheila (Kelly) Brewer, Annette, Traci (Bob), Troy R. (Jackie), and Joey; grandsons, Ian, Jonathan, Aaron, and Mohammed; granddaughters, Kristen, Cassey, Kristy, Nathera, and Megan; great-grandsons, Damian, Quentin, Vincent, Xavier, and Rayan; great-granddaughters, Briella, Jasmine, Lillian, and Melody; brother, Jonah D. (Betty); and sister, Barbara (Benny) Gray.

Troy wanted no funeral; he just wanted to be remembered as he was.  A picnic Celebration of Life will be planned.

Thanks to the staff of Scioto Community and Kindred Hospice (during his final days).

In lieu of flowers, please make a generous donation to the Cat Welfare Society of Columbus.  Troy loved cats and always fed the strays no matter where he resided!
