Walter A. McCain

Walter A. McCain, age 80, passed away Sunday, August 13, 2023 at Grant Medical Center. Veteran of U.S. Navy. Retired from Anderson Concrete. Devoted member of Parsons Avenue Church of God. He was an avid O.S.U. football fan, a workaholic, and a loving and beloved family man.

Preceded in death by parents Hartsel and Ruth McCain, and sister Linda Speakman.

Survived by daughters, Cindy, Darla, Krista, and Stormi; sons, Shane, Josh, and Sage; grandchildren, T.J., Ciara, Chris, Josh, Jaden, Emily, Noah, and Maddi; great-grandchildren, Braylon, and Harlow; several nieces and nephews; special buddy, Art from Anderson; and many other dear friends.

Visitation 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Thursday, August 24, 2023 at Parsons Avenue Church of God, 3389 Parsons Avenue, where service will follow at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Brice Utt officiating. Interment Fernwood Cemetery.
