William G. Terry

William Green Terry, age 81, was called home Monday, January 23, 2023.

Retired from Buckeye Steel and Columbus Castings.  He loved cars - racing cars at the motor speedway, the Grand National, old cars, his Firebird!  When he wasn't doing something car related, he enjoyed watching college football, and fishing and hunting.

Preceded in death by parents Cecil and Minnie Terry, sister Jessie Ellis, and brother Edward Terry.

Survived by wife, Grace; daughters, Julie (Tom) Maynard, Sandra (Derik) Gross, and Kelly (Kendall) Stevens; son, Fred Stires; grandchildren, Tommy (Maddy) Maynard, Tyler (Morgan) Maynard, Jacob (Yasmine) Maynard, Jeremy (Brooke) Maynard, and Ashley (Tony) Fout; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Danny (Judy) Terry of Ashland, KY; and sisters, Phyllis Rose of Columbus, OH, Cecilia (Charlie) Stout of Ashland, KY, Hazel Wellman of Catlettsburg, KY, Brenda (Emerson) Lewis of Grayson, KY, Jackie (Bob) Myers of Ashland, KY, and Jennifer (Ernie) Blevins of Grayson, KY.

A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 P.M. Thursday, February 2, 2023 at the Obetz Community Center, 1650 Obetz Ave., Obetz, OH  43207.
